Where your energy goes, your energy flows

And boom, hallelujah the deeper knowing and realisation hit me hard, I can tell you!

The last 13 months have been a little chaotic and wild to say the least, and for those who know me well, they will most definitely be shaking their heads with a ‘oh yes’,  and a huge sigh.

I am usually pretty good with keeping tabs on myself and my energy, and as a deep feeling woman I keep good checks on it all, yet in the recent months I have caught myself wasting way to much time and energy in areas of my life that were,

a) no longer serving me, and
b) I wasn’t receiving anything back in return

So why do you ask, did I continue and how am I only getting to this realisation now, months later?

Well as busy women, many of us at times will get caught up in the ‘story’, and for whatever reason we cannot in that time, and moment see what the actual truth of the matter is?  Regardless of how connected we are to ourselves, our hearts, minds, body and soul, sometimes we are just too deeply in the darkness, stuck in the shadows and the messiness of it all and we cannot see the light of day that is shining right in front of us.  Deep down inside to my core, I knew I should have let go a long long time ago, yet my heart kept saying no, as I tried so hard for a different outcome, no matter what the costs, and so I kept going back in for a little bit more.  Digging the hole just that little bit deeper each time, and my energy was going and flowing in all the wrong places.

The truth of the matter is I became stuck in this cycle and this pattern of shame, blame, guilt, anger, sadness, grief, loss, pain and unhealthy relating with a man and with myself.  As an embodied woman, I became disconnected from me, I became disembodied as I did not truly listen to myself, my deeper knowing, my inner wisdom, my truth, that is what is solely influenced by me.  My energy continued to certainly go here, and it flowed here and while it was not serving me, or him in any way, shape or form, the cycle continued to be perpetuated and the hungry beast was being fed by us both.  On the conscious level I knew I needed to make other choices, yet on the subconscious level this pattern of behaviour, this habit was keeping me and my current reality, my life as I knew it safe, no matter what the costs.  Therefore I chose to stay there until it was time to consciously make another choice.

In our lives and as women, many of us have grown up in, and been led by the patriarchal societal system within which we live, and told that we need to accept the hand that you have been given, and to just get on with life with little to no complaints.  It is an expectation that we behave, we be seen and not heard, we be the good girl, we be the good wife, the good daughter, the good mother, the good grandmother, the lover, the slave, and oh yes the martyr right, and so the list goes on! Now whilst in reality society is changing slowly, and I am not saying there's anything necessarily wrong with these roles within society, of which all I have been, and or currently am.  What I am saying is that for generations we have been expected to go through life disconnected, disembodied and serving all others before ourselves, regardless of our own needs, wants and desires.

The truth is that at some stage in our lives as women, these patterns and cycles of behaviour, and the stories in our heads have been so deeply entrenched, it is as if we as women and our lives don’t actually matter!  Our mothers, our aunties, and our grandmothers, and great grandmothers, the long line of lineage, that is our ancestors who have walked before us have all been through this and so so much more right and each and every one of them, like us matters.

My dreams and hopes for the women of the future, and for this generation is that you as women know your worth, that you know your truth, your inner wisdom and that you have the right to choose from a place of authenticity that is true to you.  And that you woman, like me, can connect to their heart, mind, body and soul with reverence, a deeper knowing, as you remember and awaken your mermaid that lies deeply within.

Available right now are the 1 off 1:1 Mermaid coaching sessions for those who would like to get a taster of what feminine embodiment is all about, and the 3 month 1:1 coaching container. And coming soon, in February 2022 there will be a group 7 week journey where we explore more intimately the 7 Mermaid archetypes and embodiment tools.

For now, in the 3 month 1:1 Mermaid coaching journey we will dive deeply and explore together how to guide you and your body to move from a place of disconnection, numbness and disembodiment, and instead guide you to move into more aliveness, pleasure and an embodied way of living, as you begin to remember that everything you need to know already exists within you.  Throughout this 3 month journey together we will explore all facets of yourself, however here is a taster below:

Matriarchal lineage, who are you as a woman, what are your experiences as a woman to date in life and what does it mean to be you, in integrity with yourself?

Awareness is the neverending gift of life. What new awareness do you have of yourself and your life as a woman, where are you ready to take self-responsibility and fly as the woman that you are, what can you let go of? 

Intuition is the deeper knowing that you already know, where can you lean into trust, and how can you trust yourself more as a woman?  What are you ready to magnetise into your field?

Devotion to yourself as you learn to grow more deeply in love with the woman that you are today, accessing your true pleasures, self love,sensuality and our hearts desires.
